PSI Pumping Solutions, Inc. Brief History
PSI Pumping Solutions Inc. was started by Mike and Kathy Aiello on September 13, 2002 and began construction on their first job in January of 2003. Prior to starting PSI, Mike worked temporarily with a local engineering firm in water and wastewater treatment construction. After several months of research and a lot of prayer, Mike concluded there was an opportunity in the market for contractors specializing in water and wastewater equipment installation and service.
Mike’s inspiration for starting PSI came from reading God Owns My Business by Dr. Stanley Tam. As a retired Captain from the Merchant Marines, Mike was seeking God’s will for his next adventure when he came across Mr. Tam’s unique business model. He has joined Mr. Tam in what it means to lead a successful life: “My prime effort in life is to be obedient to my God, to serve Him and bring credit to His name.” PSI is a for-profit business but a large portion of the profits are invested in local, statewide, nationwide, and international communities. PSI’s main mission is to equip, encourage, and empower all those entrusted to them. The boundaries of the call are the four corners of the earth.
Water and wastewater construction is not glamorous but a necessity. The systems are designed to last 20 to 30 years and municipalities all over Pennsylvania are upgrading their facilities. Since PSI’s humble beginnings of three full-time employees and eight jobs their first year, the company has grown to nearly 40 full-time employees, completing well over one hundred jobs per year, and a well-known name in the industry. PSI participates in bid work, as well as warranty and service contracts for water and wastewater pumping stations. The heartbeat of PSI remains in Central Pennsylvania but the company has completed work as far north as the New York boarder and as far south as Washington DC.
Water and wastewater construction is just the beginning for PSI as God continues to guide the business to additional opportunities.
